The first kiteboards were build in snowboard technology and featured groundbreaking technologies developed by Nobile R&D, including Elliptical Progressive Concave, Dynamic Assymetrical Shape, Hydrodynamic Rocker Line and later 3D Construction. APS Technology

APS Technology added Pre-stress

APS Technology - Pre-stress. Prestressing means the intentional creation of initial tension in a structure for the purpose of improving its strength properties.In kiteboarding, pre-stress allows the board to be loaded with energy during production. Storing the energy inside the board makes it a bit more stiff and much more torsion resistant, which results in astonishing POP. Pre-Stress technology also allows us to build thinner and lighter boards, yet still more durable.

W - Connection

Nobile W-Connection - available in all Nobile Splitboards. Allows you to separate the board in half in seconds and pack it into your standard luggage together with the rest of your travel gear. Provides strong connection and offers premium durability and improved comfort. Pending Patent No. P403352.

3D Technology

3D Technology developed by Nobile is still an unmatched milestone in the area of kiteboarding technology.Advanced flex management makes it extraordinarily comfortable on landings, gives it magnificent impact resistance and tons of control.3D Technology allows more flex in selected areas of the board.As a result, the board features shorter reaction time and better response, whilst still remaining easy to ride and forgiving.

Elliptical Progressive Concave

EPC - The Elliptical Progressive Concave combines the advantages of both a flat-bottomed board and concave. The tail area is completely flat, whilst the centre section of the board features concave. This shape benefits from earlier planning.

CAV - Complete Anti-Vibration Technology

CAV - Complete Anti-Vibration Technology - By using advanced core materials, laminates and variable flex zones, we managed to eliminate almost all vibrations that occur during the ride.CAV not only makes the ride smoother and faster, but also provides exceptional grip in all conditions.

Hydrodynamic Rockerline

Hydrodynamic Rockerline was developed after careful analysis of water movement under the kiteboard.Hydrodynamic Profile is designed to reduce water drag, optimizing the board shape directly to the water flow. The advantages over traditional rocker with a flat center are increased board speed and improved acceleration.

Dynamic Asymmetrical Shape

Dynamic Asymmetrical Shape  is designed around the Human Concept, to enhance your performance and work in harmony with your body. We have tailored the outline of the heel side rail to provide more grip, better upwind performance and maximum POP. On the weaker toe side, the curve radius is increased to improve the carving potential and comfort. At the same time DAS decreases the foot pressure necessary to hold an edge.

Pop Grower

Pop Grower - This special "W" shape cut keeps the tips of the board really flexible to provide explosive pop. It’s like pieces of Semtex mounted under the tip and tail of the board, so you can now fly higher than anyone else at the spot.

AirLight Core

Nobile AirLight Core - The backbone of our tech advanced large surface boards. A blend of superlight core materials and wood, developed to reduce the overal weight of the kiteboard. 

X-Reactive Flex System

X-Reactive Flex System - X layout of Carbon and Kevlar is a perfect combination. While Carbon supports rebound forces and edge grip, Kevlar reduces vibrations to minimum. Together this results in excellent pop, quick response and optimal torsion.

Honeycomb

Honeycomb board - This aerospace product has found its sweet spot in kiteboarding technology as well. It's 90% lighter than wood, but has great durability.Placed in different areas depending on board model, it reduces weight, gives pop, improves tensional response and allows accurate flex adjustment.

Woodcore

Woodcore - There is no better material for a board core than wood. With its harmonious characteristic, combining strength, flex, light weight and vibration damping, wood is still the uncrowned king of core materials.

Power Plates

Power Plates - Additional biax fiber laminate underneath the binding area improves power transfer to the edges with great damping properties.

Triax

Triax - Triple Fiber Power - This layout of fibers transfers power directly to the edges and creates perfect flex. As a result the board features aggressive filling, quick response and harmonious flexibility.

Glossy Lacquer

Glossy Lacquer - Careful paint jobs not only magnifies colors and makes your board the best looking equipment on the spot, but it also protects the kiteboard graphic from fading.

ABS Sandwich Construction

ABS Sandwich Construction - This industry standard construction provides direct power transfer to the edges and vibration damping, resulting in easy to handle and precise boards.

Extruded Base

Extruded Base - This base combines reliably good running properties with high durability.

T.R.I.P. Technology

Trip technology  lifts up the board edges at the points where the sidecut meets tip and tail of the board, providing easier turn initiation, safer landings and catch-free straight riding.

Sintered Premium Base

Sintered Premium Base - A racehorse. Very fast but demanding. If you treat it well, it will reply for sure

Tech Triangle

Tech Triangle - Intelligent system combining three innovative technologies: APS, Autorocker Concept and Trapezium Shape. Non of this technologies can function alone, but together they create an unity that significantly improves ski performance. The effective work of Tech Triangle makes the ski easier to ride and control. All models of Nobile Skis Feature the Tech Triangle.

APS Core Technology

APS Core Technology -  Nobile's patented technology thet introduces the initial stress into the ski construction. This Allows to independently manage the flex and torsion. By increasing the resistance ( even by 35% ) the ski features extordinary edge grip even on icy and hard-pack conditions.

Trapezium Shape

Trapezium Shape - Trapezium - like shape and big sidecut radius increase the stability at all speeds and eliminates the tips vibrations, whilst wide tips help to stick out of the deep snow.

Nobile KISS Fin System

Nobile KISS Fin System are produced in „Click&Go” tool-free mounting standard. It takes just a few seconds to mount/dismount fins with your bare hands. A screwdriver is no longer necessary. We redesigned the mounting system to provide a stronger connection between the fin and the board. It’s also easier and faster to mount and demount the fins.

Nobile Autorocker Concept

Nobile Autorocker Concept - The Autorocker allows the ski to automatically adapt to given conditions and riding style, without changing ski settings and allows for smooth change the profile of the ski ( from camber to rocker )when riding. Tip and tail rises automatically and creates the desired rocker profile when needed, while outstanding amount of torsion resistance secures extordinary edge grip ( even at ice ). Proper flex management allows ths ski to smoothly change the turning radius when riding.

3D Snake Transition

3D Snake Transition - Three dimensional flex & torsion engineering - patent pending #PCLT/PL2010/050002.Snake Transition technology is the three dimensional wave construction that allows  to separate board Flex (longitudinal flex) from Torsional Rigidity (cross flex) one and manage both of them separately.
